Once you’ve marvelled at the Humax PVR9300T looks, you’ll then move on to setting up. Being someone who has owned his fair share of electronical items (as well as half the countries share too) I couldn’t of been happier with the set up process. All through the 90′s and early Millenium every electronical item I bought came at peril, I’d be sat on the floor in tears not being able to get products to work and would spend numerous hours staring blankly at the manual but that wasn’t the case at all with the Humax PVR9300T, it was literally plug and play.
Simply a case of plugging in the power, inserting the co-ax input and output and finally connecting the HDMI (or scart) cable to the television. After that it is just a case of searching for channels via the menu, this takes around 10 minutes and then you’re up and running.
By this time you will of also noticed the remote control. Considering the amount of options you have when it comes to using your Humax PVR9300T I was surprised by the design and size of it. It is very well designed, looks good, certainly on a par with anything else I’ve seen and makes it very easy to work the Humax PVR9300T from the comfort of your sofa or bed.
If you’ve used anything like a VHS remote, DVD remote, Sky+ remote then you will have no trouble accessing your Humax PVR9300T through the control you’re given.
You’ll find for the first 10 seconds or so the fan in the Humax PVR9300T operates quite loudly but this only lasts for exactly that – 10 seconds. Once you’re machine is cooled you’ll be relieved to hear that the machine is absolutely silent and you won’t even notice it is there!
The Humax PVR9300T is also very durable. Users to date have reported that their viewing is only ever interupted during really bad weather. When the wind is blowing extremely hard or the rain is pouring heavily there is an occasional pause or stutter but apart from that, your Humax PVR9300T will run like absolute clockwork.
